First Filter:
The purpose of the first filter is to remove and kill microorganisms, filter particles down to 0.2-micron, remove common heavy metals found in tap water such as lead, mercury, iron and manganese. Remove chlorine and other chemicals that cause bad taste and odour.

Second Filter:
The purpose of the second filter is to remove temporary hardness that often causes bad taste and scale formation.
The fifth stage is a specially designed resin that will remove only the temporary hardness (scale forming and bad tasting minerals) such as calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate while keeping the good tasting minerals such as Calcium (Ca+2) and Magnesium (Mg+2).

BMB Zada Pro is designed for use in residential under the counter and commercial drinking water applications such as cafes where the mineral content of the water is very important for the best-tasting espressos.
The first filter has 18 - 24 months of lifetime for residential use and 6 - 12 months for commercial use. The second filter has 4 - 6 months lifetime for residential use and 1 - 3 months of lifetime for commercial use.
- Purpose: Remove and kill microorganisms, filter particles down to 0.2 microns, eliminate common heavy metals (lead, mercury, iron, manganese), and chlorine, as well as chemicals causing bad taste and odor.
- Stage 1: 1-micron filter with zinc nanoparticles for antibacterial properties, targeting sediment, dust, and particles >1 micron, achieving over 99% microorganism kill rate.
- The purpose of the second filter is to remove temporary hardness that often causes bad taste and scale formation.
- Stage 3: 0.5-micron filter with zinc nanoparticles for antibacterial properties, addressing particles >0.5 microns, heavy metals (chromium, lead, mercury, cadmium), and sediment.
- Stage 4: Ultrafiltration (UF) element composed of 0.2-micron hollow fiber strands, removing 99.99% of bacteria, microscopic particles, and heavy metals.
- Second Filter: Purpose: Remove temporary hardness causing scale formation and unpleasant taste. Stage 5: Specially designed resin targeting temporary hardness (calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate), while retaining good-tasting minerals like Calcium (Ca+2) and Magnesium (Mg+2).
