It's unique look mas made it one of the most popular indoor plants in the UK, with Charles Darwin himself proclaiming the Venus Fly Trap was 'one of the most wonderful plants in the world'. To survive, this plant has numerous toothed heads or "traps" that they use to capture their food, mostly consisting of flies and other small insects, once the prey has been captured it is slowly digested, the nutrients are absorbed and the traps re-open, and the cycle begins again.
