Rug storage bags provide full protection from damage, dirt, moisture and even bugs and vermin, once secured with a cable tie. Hardwearing, reusable protection is offered for tall and tubular items such as rugs, curtains and curtain poles. Even rolled up mattress or Christmas trees can be stored in a rug bag.
Features and benefits
- Rug bags for moving and storage are made from industrial quality woven polypropylene fabric which is much thicker and more hard wearing than traditional polythene.
- The outside of the fabric is coated providing a smooth, water resistant and easily wipable surface.
- Rugs should be folded length ways with 30cm free height at the top of the bag to allow for secure closure with a cable tie.
- Rugs should be rolled up along the short edge to allow them to fit easily in the Rug Bag. For example, a 160 x 230cm rug would be 160cm rolled up in length.
