Product information

With its dark purple foliage and contrasting pale yellow flowers, this really gives a stunning display during early spring. Followed by red berries that stand out against the dark green leaves, the foliage then turns scarlet red before they fall. Makes a fantastic colourful shrub that is loved by pollinating insects and is equally useful in wildlife areas.Plant Berberis in full sun or partial shade, on a reliably moist, well-drained soil. Barberry plants are extremely resilient and will grow on many different soil types, except waterlogged. To keep hedges in good shape, trim back lightly after flowering each year. You should also remove dead, diseased or damaged growth. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes, harmful if eaten.Product Specifications: Hardy shrubPosition: bordersHeight: Up to 50cm (20in)Spread: Up to 50cm (20in)Supplied as 1x Berberis Thunbergii Darts Red Lady in 9cm potImages shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity.
