Paint a Pot Activity Terms and Conditions

From 8th July 2017 to 15th July 2017 participating B&Q stores will be staging Paint a Pot Activities. Subject to limited space and availability of materials, B&Q customers can participate and paint their own terracotta pot to take home for no cost.

These Terms and Conditions apply to B&Q Paint a Pot Activity. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before participating in a Paint a Pot Activity. By participating in a Paint a Pot Activity, you agree to adhere to and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

  1. Paint a Pot Activity (Demonstrations) are available at participating B&Q stores nationwide.

  2. Children must be accompanied by a legal parent or guardian at all times.

  3. A maximum of two children may attend with each legal parent or guardian.

  4. Activities are subject to availability. Demonstration sizes are limited and B&Q reserve the right to restrict access where it becomes necessary to do so. Attendance at the store is no guarantee of attendance of/or participation in a Demonstration.

  5. B&Q reserves the right to cancel activities where it becomes necessary to do so. B&Q will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused as a result of the cancellation of and/or changes to Demonstrations.

  6. Materials supplied as part of Demonstrations are proprietary to B&Q and any use or duplication other than for personal use is strictly prohibited.

  7. B&Q reserves the right to exclude any person from attending a class who in B&Q’s reasonable opinion has not complied with these Terms and Conditions or who it considers fails to act in a safe and responsible manner. Parents or guardians remain responsible for the actions of their children at all times

  8. Activities must not be recorded without the prior written consent of B&Q.

  9. Participants must wear suitable clothing. All other equipment will be provided by B&Q. Demonstrations may include the use of dangerous equipment which could present a risk of injury if used incorrectly. Participants must adhere to the health and safety guidelines provided by B&Q and use equipment provided by B&Q appropriately. So far as permitted by law, B&Q will not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage incurred by attendees. This does not affect your statutory rights.

  10. These terms and conditions and any attendance of a paint a pot activity together with any dispute or claim in connection with them shall be subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

  11. A maximum of 1 pot per child.
