Before you begin

To get the best performance from a new tap, it’s critical to choose one that suits your home’s water pressure. If you have a low pressure water system, a tap designed to operate at this pressure will help to ensure a steady flow of water. Or if you’ve got a high water pressure system, you’ll be able to opt for some innovative features to get your kitchen working harder for you.

To help identify the water pressure system in your home and understand how this affects your choice of kitchen taps, head to our helpful guide.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Well Bought 2 weeks ago as a replacement for an older design tap. Installed without difficulty by plumber. He commented that the mounting was well designed and the pipes quite long. It works well and appears quite robust. Outlet has an aerator which smooths the flow when full on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple quality tap Bought in the sale and am very happy with the tap so far. Sturdy and good quality / water flow. Easy to use and good overall quality for the price!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor Instruction Not installed yet, but opened the box and viewed the instructions. The layout of the fittings on the diagram is incorrect. One item indicated on the diagram to be fitted under the worktop in fact should be fitted on top of the worktop together with the o ring seal. The tap sits on this. Its pretty obvious where it should be fitted, but you must wonder who draws up the instructions/diagram! The associated star rating does not have a category for 'accuracy of instruction' or 'ease of installation' !

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Brand new tap that leaks! I bought this tap from the B & Q in New Malden, when I opened the box, I noticed that the lever was badly scratched, the chrome plating was burred off, with nasty gashes in the metal. My original tap was already taken off the sink, and leaking badly so had no option than fit this damaged one. When fitting I noticed that the someone had broken the filter part at the end of the nozzle, and when turning the water back on - noticed this brand new tap out the box leaks from the body!! With the damage to the tap and the fact it leaks - I can only assume its a used one repackaged in a new box with new strapping ( nothing on the box indicates its used or been opened before ). I am a trade customer at B and Q and have noticed this happens a lot, - bought loads of stuff with bits missing, damaged etc especially kitchens. So it just shows you even when you check the packaging carefully you can still be caught! Going back later to see what they will do about it! - the phrase " not fit for purpose" will be used.
