Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just The Ticket I bought this item to replace an old Siphon valve. After reading through the instructions, even a novice like me found the product easy to fit! I have now got rid of the old lever and replaced with the button on this valve - a much modernised and welcome look to the bathroom. The product works great! Will replace the downstairs loo with this product also.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not suitable Unfortunately this product was not suitable for my loo, it wasn't easy to fit and did not work properly. But this may just be due to the fact of the shape of the product and the size of the water recepticle it was used in and the too close proximity of the inlet valve. Check that it will fit before buying . . . The ratings only reflect my experience and therefore may badly reflect on what may well be a good product in other circumstances.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of time and money I bought this to replace my leaking valve, Unfortunately the leaking valve I took out didn't leak as bad as this one did. I even took this back out and reinstalled in case I had missed something (as if) but the result was the same it is just really badly manufactured. With the six litre cistern full and water turned off it took just thirty minutes to empty the contents with its constant dribble.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from waste of money This product is overpriced rubbish. It has always leaked water into the pan which in my house caused an annoying drumming from the fill valve whenever other taps in the house where operated. The small flush part failed almost immediately and the button broke. Have now replaced with different make which works fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bought 3 ....none of them work!! As per the other reviews, there's a constant trickle of water as the design is poor. Buy something else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaky. Wish I'd read reviews. Unfortunately I had no internet where I was fitting this thing, so I never saw the reviews. I've taken the toilet apart 3 times diagnosing a fault ridden product with leaking problems that are being reported for over 3 years. This is going back to the shop. Why is this still on the shelves?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality -non adjustable o/flow & missing seal I bought one of these, removed the cistern and fitted the bottom part only to find that the overflow pipe was wedged in the top part and couldn't be adjusted as per the instructions. I returned it and got another which had exactly the same problem - both I and the plumbing chap in the store independently rang the product helpline listed on the packaging without getting it resolved. Eventually I put it in a vice and pushed the overflow pipe out with a drift to find that the o-ring had not been lubricated. With a little soap on the o-ring it went back together and worked as it should. The next problem was a constant leak into the pan. Taking it all apart again it turned out that there was no rubber seal on the drop valve. So back to the store again and finally after three units and five trips I got it working. The plumbing chap in the store was very helpful but its clear that the manufacturing process is poor.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Get something more reliable It worked fine for 2 years but we became increasingly aware of leakage of water into the pan. Turns out that other people have noticed the same thing. There's plenty of reliable makes out there but this isn't one of them.
