- Soil moisture: Well drained
- Remove the plants from the bag of compost and soak them in water for 3-4 hours. Dig soil improver and bonemeal in to the planting area before planting When the foliage has died back, usually after the first frost, cut back stems to 5cm above soil level. Not winter hardy. To over-winter, dig up the tubers and store them in a cool, dry and frostfree place. Replant at the same time next year.
