Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very strong I wanted two shelving units to organise all the junk in our garage. I chose these because the dimensions were just right and they can take a huge weight, 350kg each shelf, so 1400kg each unit. They fit together with slots... no nuts, bolts or screws. You just need a rubber mallet to gently but firmly hammer the pieces together. The units become more and more solid as you proceed with assembly. The instructions say they should be attached to a wall, but I have them free standing and they seem pretty stable. You can vary the gaps between the shelves, so I allowed some space under the bottom shelf for floor storage, and the top shelf is a bit lower than illustrated, for easier reach. You need to assemble them in situ as the finished unit is very heavy and they wouldn't be easy to move around because of the slot-together construction.
