Rated 5 out of 5 by from 18v SDS Had it for a few months now, I have been using it on a building site that is in the middle of nowhere and no electricity. It has been used every day for 8 weeks up to 8 hrs a day and no issues. I wasn't sure how much power a cordless sds would have, but it's got plenty. I haven't tried it with the 1.5Ah battery, I used the 4Ah batteries instead, so if you already have ryobi tools and batteries it's a great addition.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So handy, so light, so good on price As an electrician I am always looking for ways of comfortably carrying more tools with less effort from place to place. For drilling masonry I have a big 28V DeWalt which is amazing but also very big and heavy. I had a go with a friends Ryobi and whilst not as fast to punch a hole into brick it was still effortless whilst being so much more compact and lighter. It dawned on me that for everyday jobs with red and brown wall plugs the Ryobi would be perfect. It then dawned on me that if I add in an SDS chuck adapter for rotary drilling jobs I would not need to carry the combi drill at all. So now armed with this Ryobi compact SDS, chuck adaptor, and my impact driver I can handle most everyday jobs with one trip from the van. One feature I would like to see on the Ryobi is the belt hook which DeWalt and other brands use a lot on their ranges, when working up steps it is so handy to hook the tools on to your work trousers between operations, rather than precariously wedging or balancing them allowing you to work more safely and more quickly. Overall it is abig thumbs up from me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A step back I bought this as a replacement for my existing ryobi sds drill, which after 4 years of hard use had decided to die. I'm a fan of the Ryobi 18v cordless range and have a lot of their kit but this drill has a major design flaw that makes it unusable for me. It doesn't stand up. It may not sound like much, but when every drill you own stands up when you out it down, but this one falls forward, meaning the drill point strikes whatever you've rested it on causing damage, it is very infuriating. I'll be taking it back and getting my old one repaired!
