Card and registration
Why do I need to register for the Club?
As a new Club member, you will only receive your €5 off when you spend €50 voucher if you register. Also, you will only be eligible for reward vouchers and Club exclusive offers if you are registered and opted-in to receive marketing emails.
How do I register for the Club?
You can register in store with a member of staff.
Do I need to have a card?
Yes, to take advantage of the B&Q Club and Diamond Club you have to swipe your card every time you shop in store in order for us to send you a voucher following your recent purchase.
Where do I get a card from?
The only way to get a card and key fob is by picking one up in store. They won’t be posted out to customers.
How do I know I’ve successfully registered?
In the majority of cases, your registration confirmation email is emailed within minutes of registration. However it can take up to 10 working days in some cases. Please add firstname.lastname@example.org to your safe senders email list to be certain, and please check your junk/spam folders if it hasn’t been received.
How quickly is my €5 registration offer voucher emailed out?

Why do I need an email address to register?
Your email address is your unique identifier in the Club platform and will be our main channel of contact with you for Club news and offers. You won’t be able to register for the Club if you don’t have an email address.
However, if you are eligible for a diamond card and do not have an email address, you do not need to register your card, simply start using it. But bear in mind that this will only allow you 10% off on Wednesdays and no other benefits, to receive the full benefits of the B&Q Club you need to register your card.
Can I register multiple cards against one email address?
No, you can only have one card number per email address. Anytime you add a new card to your account (e.g. if your card is lost, stolen or damaged) this will overwrite the previous card number on your account.
What’s my membership number?
Your registered B&Q Club membership number will be on every Club email that we send out as well as on the back of your card.
How do I get a replacement card?
If your card is lost, stolen or damaged there is no need to cancel your card. You simply need to pick up a new one in store and a member of staff can register it for you.
Using your card in-store and online
How do I redeem a voucher?
A voucher can be used in any transaction you make in store. Make sure to always scan your club card as well as the voucher for the deduction to be made successfully. Your club card can be scanned at any point in the transaction.
Can I use my Club membership on the self-service checkouts in-store?
Yes, your Club membership can also be scanned through these checkouts. You will need to ask a member of staff to access the relevant checkout screen for you.
Club rewards and vouchers
What can I spend my reward vouchers on?
Your reward voucher can be spent in store on any items, with the exception of gift cards, orders made in store, delivery charges, installations and some items on promotion.
Where can I spend my reward vouchers?
Your reward vouchers can be used in any B&Q store (except concessions and cafes) in the Republic of Ireland.
How long are my reward vouchers valid for?
The expiry date for your reward vouchers will vary between 2 – 7 weeks. We will email you a reminder if you haven’t redeemed your voucher and it is due to expire.
Why don’t I earn loyalty points?
The B&Q Club is not a points-based loyalty programme. Your loyalty rewards are based on your shopping history and are issued through the form of regular reward vouchers and exclusive Club offers.
New Diamond membership of the B&Q Club
Do I need to register my Diamond card to get the 10% discount on a Wednesday?
Yes, you need to register your new Diamond card to get all B&Q Club benefits including your 10% on a Wednesday. However, if you do not have access to an email account then you can still take advantage of the 10% discount.
I registered for my old Diamond Card. Why do I need to register again?
This is brand new programme with new card numbers. We therefore need you to register again please.
Am I entitled to the new Club member €5 voucher offer?
Yes, as long as you have not held a previous Club membership as well as your Diamond membership before then you will receive the €5 offer voucher. If you already hold a Club membership and your email address is already in the system then your old Club membership number will be updated with your new Diamond card number when you register and no voucher will be issued.
Can I use my Diamond card every day of the week?
Yes! Although the 10% discount is only activated on a Wednesday, you can present your new Diamond card every day of the week, every time you shop. This way you can receive the new Club benefits such as the Club reward voucher programmes.
Can my new Diamond Card be used with my Club reward vouchers?
Yes, any reward vouchers you may have can be used with your Diamond Card. This means that if you are shopping on a Wednesday you will get your 10% discount and the money off from redeeming your reward voucher. For your reward voucher to be redeemed, however, you will need to have spent above the minimum spend threshold, after your discount eg: you have a voucher giving €5 off a €50 spend, you will need to spend over €55 before your 10% discount in order to use your voucher.
Does my new Diamond Card work on the self-service checkouts in store?
Yes, but you will need to scan the barcode on the back of the card. You will need to ask a member of staff to access the relevant checkout screen for you.
Does the new Diamond Card give 10% off other products that are already discounted?
No, the new Diamond Club membership card will not give a 10% discount on products that are already on promotion (e.g. multibuys etc.). Please click here to read the full B&Q Club terms and conditions.
I’ve got an old Diamond Card. Will that still work?
The old Diamond cards will work for a period of time but will be phased out very soon. It is therefore recommended that you pick up a new B&Q Club Diamond membership card as soon as possible.
I was already a B&Q Club member too. What do I need to do?
If you already hold a B&Q Club membership and your email address is already in the Club platform then all you need to do is update your Club account with your new Diamond card number. This will replace your old Club membership number.
