In 2007, B&Q committed to become a One Planet business and to help our customers achieve One Planet homes.
B&Q's carbon commitmentWe are committed to a 20% reduction in CO2 by the end of the 2012 financial year and are targeting a 90% reduction in CO2 by the end of the 2023 financial year. We've made a great start by reducing our absolute carbon emissions by 16% since 2006.
B&Q's waste commitmentWe are committed to a 90% reduction (by weight) of waste to landfill by the end of the 2012 financial year.
B&Q's water commitmentWe are committed to a 10% reduction in volume of water used (m3) by the end of the 2012 financial year against a 2007/8 baseline.
B&Q's timber commitmentWe now only buy timber that has been responsibly sourced. Find out more about our Forest Friendly programme.
