Customer Advisor
Selling is all about helping customers buy what they want and as a Customer Advisor on our showroom department this is exactly what you would do.
As a customers first point of contact you will be passionate about customer service and have the confidence that whatever a customers budget & style we have a wide range of products and services to meet their needs. Building relationships with customers you will help them choose products and with a full sales design service on offer, you will arrange appointments with our sales consultants who will then design their dream kitchen, bathroom or bedroom either in store or in the customers own home.
With a positive attitude and a desire and willingness to learn you will become a friendly expert in showroom sales and along with the rest of the showroom team will play an integral role in making a customers experience of buying, easy and enjoyable.
Committed to your development you will have the opportunity to build your skills and work towards an NVQ Retail Skills Level 2 qualification.
Sales Design Consultant
As a Design Consultant you'll be responsible for maximising sales performance across our showroom categories of Kitchens, Bathrooms, Bedrooms and Installation services. With a proven track record for achieving sales targets you will go out of your way to provide knock-your-socks off service to all customers all of the time.
A confident seller who possesses the ability to ask the right questions to understand exactly the requirement of the customer, we will support you with the knowledge of B&Q's wide range of products and services. Working as part of the showroom team you will play a leading role in identifying new sales opportunities and developing the selling skills within the store.

Showroom Trading Manager
As a Showroom Trading Manager you'll be responsible for leading and managing our showroom department. Reporting directly into the store manager, you will be expected to drive, influence and improve the sales performance across the showroom department. As a high calibre and experienced retail sales manager you will have the tenacity and motivation to lead a sales team to achieve sales and profit targets.
You will draw from your knowledge and experience of competitors in order to maximise sales opportunities. You will be responsible for delivering a first and only service for B&Q customers. Seen as a role model you will be expected to share your knowledge to deliver excellent results and service standards.
Your ability to coach and develop people to become highly effective in a sales environment will be critical to your success. Tenacious in your approach to achieve and exceed targets, you'll be part of a wider management team whose contribution drives the overall success of the stores sales and profitability.
