Utility Storage & Shelving
Utility storage and shelving is designed for the more utilitarian spaces around the home such as a laundry room, a general utility room or workshop. It is equally suitable for one or more of your outbuildings such as a workshop, garage, or garden shed. In those areas your storage and shelving needs to be functional rather than beautiful or stylish. At B&Q we have a whole range of storage units and shelving systems of that kind. Free standing metal tool storage cabinets keep your tools together and under lock and key if you wish. They can store all manner of other items too of course. Shelf units, also free standing are ideal for handy low level storage. For higher level shelving our wall-mounted flexi shelving provides almost unlimited flexibility.
The vertical steel bars come in a variety of lengths ready to be screwed to the wall. Then the specially designed brackets hook into the bars. You can position the brackets exactly where on the bars you want them to be as long as both brackets in a pair are set at the same level. The shelf is then placed on the brackets. Depending on how many vertical bars you fit and how you position the brackets, you control the spacing of the shelves and you can change it whenever you like. The weight this system will take is amazing! B&Q can even supply the shed in which to fit any of these utility storage and shelving units if you need one.
