B&Q will match the price for Tool Hire when hired from a B&Q store against those from HSS, Travis Perkins & Jewsons. The products must be of the same specification and perform the same function. You will need to provide us with evidence of the competitor’s price in order that our colleagues can check the price at the point you place your order in store. Price match is against the total hire price of the tool, including VAT, delivery and collection and excludes consumables, deposits, accessories and/or safety equipment (whether required or not). The competitors’ products must be available at the lower price for the same period of hire that the products are being hired from us. We will need to be able to confirm that they are available on the dates 
required and that they are available at that price to the general public, or where a trade account is required the price must be generally available to all trade members holding an account with that competitor. Price match only applies when hiring products from a B&Q store and not from diy.com or TradePoint.co.uk. We do not price match against competitors’ promotions/discounted products, offers involving vouchers or discount codes, staff or any other discount cards cannot be used in conjunction with a price match. For Tradepoint Members who have loyalty discount this will apply on top of the total hire price.

B&Q will pass 100% of the sales proceeds on to Shelter, the National Campaign for Homeless People Limited 2022. Registered charity in England & Wales (263710) and Scotland (SC002327). Shelter Trading is a trading subsidiary of Shelter and trades in support of its charitable objects. All profits from the sale of these cards go to Shelter. Any money raised through cards sold in Northern Ireland will be sent to Housing Rights (Charity no. 105735), in Ireland to Focus Ireland (Charity no. In the UK, B&Q will give 100% of the profits for each Christmas Jumper sold to Shelter (Registered Charity Number 263710 England and Wales, SC002327 Scotland). Shelter will give all proceeds received from Northern Ireland to Housing Rights (charity no. NIC 105735), and Wales to Shelter Cymru (charity no. 515902). In Republic of Ireland, B&Q Ireland will give 100% of the profits for each Christmas jumper sold to Focus Ireland (CHY 7220). This is expected to generate a total of at least £25,000.

Win your shopping back Club and TradePoint Exclusive Terms and Conditions  

B&Q Club and TradePoint members stand a chance to win an e-gift card to the value of their shopping made in a single transaction to the maximum value of £2000 when scanning their B&Q Club or TradePoint membership card with purchases made between 1 December and 31 December 2024. Where a customer shops multiple times in one day, each transaction is a separate entry. The value of the prize will be delivered via an e-gift card to the total value of the winning basket amount, up to a maximum value of £2000. These gift cards will be governed by B&Qs gift card T&Cs (available at diy.com/services/gift-cards). There will be 100 winners drawn for each day of the prize draw duration, with prizes being distributed between 2 December 2024 and 8 January 2025.

Who can enter?  

This promotion is open to registered B&Q Club and TradePoint members that are residents of the UK, aged 18 years and over, excluding employees of B&Q Limited, their families, agents or anyone else connected with the promotion.

Entrants have until midnight the day they shopped to ensure a new Club card is registered to be entered into the prize draw. One hundred winners will be selected at random for each day between 1 December and 31 December 2024 and prizes will be sent by email by 8 January 2025, should a member win multiple prizes they will receive multiple emails for each of the prizes they have won. Only winning members will be notified. All prizes are non-transferable, and there is no cash alternative.  

How to enter:  

For UK stores only: 

To enter, the Club or TradePoint Member must scan or enter their B&Q Club, Diamond Club or TradePoint membership card when transacting in store, on diy.com or on the B&Q app between 1 December and 31 December 2024 inclusively. They will then automatically be entered into the draw for the day on which they scanned their loyalty card. Entry cannot be made retrospectively. Every time a loyalty card is used in a transaction between 1 December and 31 December 2024 inclusively is considered a valid entry.   

Entry:  

Each scan of a B&Q Club or TradePoint membership card is an entry into the prize draw. Third party entries will not be accepted, and we reserve the right to disqualify any entries we reasonably suspect to have been made fraudulently including using bots, computer software or by any other means. We accept no responsibility for any lost, damaged or incomplete entries or entries not received due to a technical fault or for any other reason beyond our reasonable control.  

Prize details:  

100 winners will be selected each day, 3100 winners in total and each will win the value of the single basket value they were drawn for to the total value of £2000, to be delivered as an e-gift card via email. The prize is non-transferable or exchangeable and no cash alternative is available. We reserve the right to replace the prize with a prize of equal or greater value where it becomes necessary to do so.  

Winner selection and prize fulfilment: 3100 winners in total, made up of 100 winners that shopped each day between 1 December and 31 December 2024 will be selected at random from all valid entries received. The prize draw will take place before 8 January 2025. We will contact the Winners via email by 8 January 2025.

Publicity can and may include use of photography, videography and quotes from the materials and/or from, or of the entrant for use within national and regional print, online and broadcast media as well as all B&Q social media, email, DIY.com and B&Q advertising activity. 

Your acceptance of these Terms:  

We reserve the right to refuse entry or refuse to award any prize to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions and/or hold void, cancel, suspend or amend these Terms and Conditions where it becomes necessary to do so. Our decision on all matters relating to this promotion is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.  

By entering this promotion, you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.  

Liability:  

Insofar as is permitted by law the Promoter and its agents and distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees.  

Governing Law:  

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions restricts your statutory rights as a consumer. This promotion will be governed by English law and entrants submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
