(x4) Hebe Collection Evergreen Garden Shrubs (9cm Pots)

Product information

Characteristics The Hebe Collection is renowned for its diverse range of evergreen shrubs that exhibit a variety of leaf shapes and textures. These plants typically feature dense foliage that can be glossy or matte, providing a lush appearance throughout the year. The leaves are often arranged in a rosette pattern, contributing to the overall compact and bushy form of the plants. Additionally, the collection showcases a variety of growth habits, from low-growing ground covers to upright forms, making them versatile for different garden settings. Uses Hebes are popular choices for both ornamental and practical uses in gardens and landscapes. They are often employed as foundation plants, providing structure and greenery in borders and beds. Their resilience and adaptability make them suitable for coastal gardens, where they can withstand salt spray and windy conditions. Furthermore, Hebes can be used in mixed plantings, adding texture and interest, and they are also effective in attracting pollinators, making them beneficial for biodiversity in the garden. Care Caring for Hebes is relatively straightforward, as they are hardy and low-maintenance plants. They thrive in well-drained soil and prefer a sunny to partially shaded position, although some varieties can tolerate more shade. Regular watering is essential, especially during dry spells, but it is important to avoid waterlogging. Pruning is recommended to maintain their shape and encourage bushier growth, and it is best done in early spring. Additionally, applying a balanced fertiliser in the growing season can promote healthy growth and vibrant foliage.
