Good value
As with another review, the vice had been painted after construction so the pieces that should move don’t, without some scraping/levering. As I had expected that, I didn’t really mind. It is a decent vice for occasional use at a good price. Appears to be identical, but at a much lower price, to one stocked elsewhere.

Too much paint
Painted red it does mean you don't smack into it so much. However, it took me a while to work out that the reason I couldn't get the base to rotate was not incompetence / having weak hands, but too much paint. Whoever sprayed the paint on sprayed it all over the bolt threads under the base. Dismantled it using a variety of tools which took off some other paint, soaked bolts in nail varnish remover, scrubbed away with steel wool and the trusty thumbnail, reassembled and now it does what it says. I would still have given 4 stars if it had included more bolts (w/o paint) to fix it to the worktop.

Wonky and not up to the job
Purchased today. Very unstable. No fixtures included. Had to purchase them separately for a further £6. Jaws do not aline up. Arrived to pickup another vice however not in stock although showing the item was.

Utilisé deux fois et poubelle!
C'est vrai qu'il était pas cher, semblait bien fait. Oui mais avec un metal mou! Quand j'ai voulu serrer fort une piece métallique ( ne devrait il pas être fait pour ça ?) Les mâchoires se sont pliées Maintenant elle ne se touchent plus. Bref encore une cochonnerie casto.

Ca fonctionnait bien mais ...
J'ai acheté ce produit pour avoir un étau d'une qualité un poil correcte. Ca fonctionnait bien au début, j'avais juste un souci lors du blocage de la rotation de la base de l'étau, chose qui ne me dérangeait pas vraiment. Puis, j'ai commencé à avoir des problèmes au niveau du serrage de l'étau, et la, il est littéralement en train de se disloquer, plus rien ne tient correctement. Pour autant, je n'ai pas une utilisation intensive sur cet étau, et je n'ai pas tapé dessus comme un bourrin, mais bon, très déçu, je prendrais un modèle plus costaud la prochaine fois, un modèle qui me tienne plus de 4 mois (acheté pré-confinement).
