B&Q need to store these differently
Mark1001 - 1 year ago
Purchased 3 lengths yesterday from storeroom at Northampton branch. When they were handed to me, in an extremely bowed condition, the store man stated that all i needed to do was put some weights on them over night to straighten them out !!!! and that they were the only thing in the storeroom that were stored on their ends.
Surprisingly despite having 4 x 10kg weights placed on them along the length overnight they did not straighten out, which then resulted in me using 15kg dumbells to try and get the ends to stay on the wall while the sealant/adhesive set. In the end went back to the store and got a refund. If you are thinking of purchasing and they are bowed don't. otherwise they look good with the matching worktop.
B&Q you really need to change the way these are stored/displayed....
Looks good, but poor to fit

Really please with the look of these upstands, just very disappointed with how bowed they were, which made them a mission to fit. Due to how they where stored within the store meant the either ends of each length were so bowed that they took ages to adear to the walls.

For £25 a pop I expected to get the edging strip to finish off the ends, instead I had to mess about mitring them
