STREloft panels are ideal as an overlay for existing floors, or as a storage solution for use in lofts and attics. The panels have been designed with tongue and groove on the long edges, allowing the boards to slot into one another for a secure fit and easy installation. Convenient mini-panel size allows them to fit through loft hatches and ensures easy handling in tight spaces. Floor board joints should be staggered for greater strength. • Fix panels in place with screws. Each screw should be countersunk and a pilot hole drilled as this makes fixing the boards easier and takes the screw heads below the level of the floor. • Avoid joining boards between joists as they can sag and cause a weak spot in the floor. • Butt joints must be positioned in the center of joists.
