300 Litre Water Butt

Tap washer failed.
Connecting kit and stand not included and also too expensive.
Cheaper to buy 2 X150 litre with kits and stand included.
B&Q should do better.
Leaks beyond belief

Fitted to replace a smaller butt for my shed but within barely a week had sprung a leak from the tap. The water butt is the ideal size but as others have said in their reviews, it doesn't retain water. After only a couple of days, it had completely drained. Will be exploring replacement/refund options.

I have bought three of these rainwater tanks over the past few months. The first was great which encouraged me to buy a second. This second rainwater tank had one of the strengthening bars missing. The local B+Q store managed to source one for me. The third time I purchased this rainwater tank, the price had increased and no longer includes the strengthening bar, plus the lid was broken. Local store said that none of their stock includes the strengthening bars. By not including these strengthening bars, this rainwater tank is no longer fit for purpose. When filled with rainwater, the tank distorts and looks like it will burst.
Only a single star for this third rainwater tank - and that's only because 0 is not an option. Do not purchase unless the strengthening bars are included.
(Please forgive the use of 'rainwater tank', but the over-zealous filter considers the correct word to be inappropriate language and won't accept this review).

Well I read the other reviews and nearly did not buy it
But it was just what I needed, I installed it on a concrete paving slab and it is ideal.
No problem with the lid or tap

purchased this to replace our 110 litre butt, the lower bracing bar doesn't fit so had to bend it to fit. The lid doesn't fit properly and there is a constant drip on the tap when the butt is full. The only plus point is it holds 300 litre of water but other wise very disappointed obviously major design faults !!!!!!
