The specification on-line does not tell you that you can only trim 4mm from each side, 6mm from the bottom and the lock has to be about 900mm from the bottom as supplied. The block for the lock is 320mm which and 55mm wide so quite restrictive. Otherwise the door looks OK for the money but I'll have to return these for a refund as the bedrooms have fitted carpets and I would need to cut more from the bottom.

Bought this door as painted and we were trying to save time as decorating the whole house before we moved in. The paint standard is shocking to say the least and to top it off you can wipe it off with a cloth.

Lightly sanded with a palm sander and painted. After painting it is ok, I would of just gone for the primed one if I’d of known.

The fact that the lock can only be fitted on one side of the door is only mentioned at No4 on the reverse of the paperwork. All other details with regard to how much you can take off sides and bottom, size of hinges, and storage are all on the front and repeated on the reverse. This important information should be made clear on the front.

I bought 4 of these doors in March, deciding to pay extra so I wouldn’t have to paint them as it is a difficult job as you get older. Unfortunately the standard of painting was deplorable - especially around all the edges of the panels - they just look like they have layers of dust all over.

I am now having to paint all the doors myself so I am annoyed at having paid the extra money for pre painted doors AND having to buy paint to do it myself!

Bought 7 doors in various sizes. One was damaged in transit, however this was sorted by customer service....after some insistence from me and a trip to the B&Q store in the next town! The quality is ok. I will probably paint them, despite the fact they're "Pre painted". The finish isn't that great. Also, it's worth mentioning that if you have to have the doors shaped in any way to fit your door frames, you'll loose the edges somewhat anyway and will have to prime and paint where they've been cut. In hindsight, I would have spent the money on a better quality door that I prime and paint myself. Difficult to comment on use as we've only just had them fitted.
