I bought this for Christmas and it’s just perfect. Love the solid floor and doesn’t leak at all. My daughter loves it and can fit her kitchen chair and scooter in there nicely. I have gone ott with the fake flowers and window box but all in aid of brightening my garden up.

The only thing I will say is you need patience esp with the windows and paint before constructing

Lovely house

We brought this for our 2 year old daughter and she loves it. It was fairly straightforward to put together and didn't take too long. (3 hours ish) Also was available for delivery within a few days. Would recommend.

Well constructed, sturdy little playhouse (Part2)

I'm terrible at DIY so was not looking forward to this. However, after 2 coats of undercoat/primer and then 2 coats of colour paint on each panel and part, I eventually got around to building with assistance. The wood was pretty raw, so needed the primer and undercoat as the paint easily absorbed in. The panels were generally solid and true, with one exception on one (left hand side facing the door) side panel that required planing & sanding down to allow the roof line to sit flush. Some pieces of wood did require sanding to avoid splinters. My first gripe was that the instructions showed a picture for the 3-set door hinge that was incorrect - the hinge could not possible function the way the picture was drawn. After much deliberation we ignored the picture, went with our gut and it was fine. They should update the instructions to correct this. Also, being collectively rubbish at DIY, we hung the door whilst upright and stupidly didn't centre it within the frame and so ended up having to shave the frame base to allow for door expansion in the changing weather conditions. We could not re-hang as we only needed to move 2mm and the hinge drill holes would have likely combined so shaving the bottom was safest. My second gripe was that some joinery skills were required. I had to buy a chisel to make the window recesses, and I had to cross my fingers and toes when being asked to make saw incisions into the roof lines at stated lengths - thankfully we measured four times, cut once and it worked first time like a dream. So, all in all, a sturdy little playhouse that my 2 year old will now love. Not the biggest inside, but looks cute in the garden and the solid floor is a godsend.

2 year old loves it!

We bought this for my daughter's 2nd birthday and she loves it. It's big enough for her kitchen and a couple of chairs and will definitely last until she is much older. To say it was easy to build would be a lie! It took my husband, father and brother over 6 hours- but worth it as she loves it so much. We used adhesive rather than tacks for the windows.
