Bought this to replace a stupid bi-fold door - admittedly I was changing the door from open in to open out of the room so had a few extra steps. Door quality seemed good and for the price and not having to paint it’s really good.
A couple of things to note. Remember that this is slightly narrower than a normal door as you’re adding additional items to the frame. Also the frame pieces are plastic wrapped MDF and have an obvious seam down the length if you’re fitting a RH hung.
Follow the video and instructions which are not bad.
My main gripe is that first the lock sticker plate did not quite fit flush as it should plus once the door was hung, I had to file 2mm off the plate so the latch would click home. Everything was aligned as directed but the machining of the striker cutout was 2mm high. 5 mins with a file sorted this out.
Next problem - I had pilot drilled all holes as you should, but the striker plate long screw snapped the head off. So now I have a plate held on with one screw - there’s no way to get 48mm of shank out! So I put a replacement screw just above to at least hold the wooden piece in place.
Packers work well but I would suggest drilling clearance holes in the supplied wood pieces so you can adjust them at the end to get an even gap.
Once caulked it looks very good - shows up how yellow the rest of my doors are.
Overall much easier than fitting a blank door, not having to paint it is an extra bonus. 4 stars, good but room for improvement.
Well painted but that's about it

I bought this door thinking this will be a quick easy way to replace a door but be warned. you will loose width (roughly 2") and you probably will have to shave some timber of the bottom or top. this door turned out to be shy on the width, subsequently the latch doesn't reach the keeper. also the hinges are not positioned correctly, the top one has a gap putting all the load on the bottom hinge. don't wast your money, buy a regular door and do it properly.

purchased this today and after unwrapping found that the hinges do not fit pre-drilled recess. B&Q staff tried to help but all the doors had the same problem. might be bad batch. Advise anyone buying one to check all parts fit before leaving store. Cost me 50 miles worth of fuel.

Bought this item! Fitted in next to know time. Looks good so will be changing all doors throughout the house now.

This is a bad concept, not only dose your frame need to be as perfectly square and level you loose almost 2 inches on the width.
Buy single or the 2 for £40 deals and pay a joiner to fit at a cost of approx £30 to £35 each. That's a total of £55 not £72 and fit yourself and struggle. It's a no brainer!
