Could be better quality

The edging strips come seperately and are oversized in width so have to be cut down, plus because they're thin and not coated all the way round, a brown line can be seen once stuck on. The laminate look ok but the 2 pieces I received were bowed, so applying to a flat wall was awkward. Does the job, but quality could be improved.
Really compliments the kitchen

Great looking addition to my existing Basalt worktops, wife really pleased. One word of caution though! The description says it's on chipboard which is part reason why I bought it, it's not, it's actually on an MDF type base. If you are not fitting it immediately, make sure it's stored flat and in a reasonable steady temperature. I had mine covered on trestles in the garage for five days, result .....warped in both length and width. Thankfully I managed to pull it virtually straight when fitting but had to use disguised screws each corner and middle. Overall though a great looking splashback at a good price. Would have been even better on chipboard!
