Excellent purchase and so safe to use both inside and outside the house
Rungs too narrow to stand on for long
RarelyComplain - 5 years ago
I bought this to replace my old ladder of the same make which was damaged. Very disappointed as, although mechanism is the same as the previous model, works well and is easy to use, the ladder rungs on the new model are much narrower, and hence very uncomfortable to stand on for any length of time (eg even the time it takes to change a light bulb and certainly the time it takes to wash a window). The old model had a flange either side of each rung which was much safer an more comfortable to stand on. I cannot imagine using my new ladder for painting/decorating!

I needed a secure ladder to paint the stairway. The 3 way ladder was just the thing. Pity B&Q next day delivery did not live up to its name.
For me, the Abru did not deliver

I was concerned with the rounded steps, which felt slippery. You could not go as far as I wanted up the ladder in its step ladder position, without losing stability. The 'shelf' for the top did not fit in too well. For the price, it did not deliver, so I returned it and bought another ladder that was less money, sturdier and you could go a few feet higher while feeling stable.
Perfect Purchase For Single Lady

As a female living alone I needed some steps to cope with all diy jobs eg, decorating, changing ceiling light bulbs, changing curtains etc. I went for these 3way extending ladders for my tricky and high landing and stairs for decorating and they were great. Good purchase.
