Replacement radiator
Pat 4 - 4 years ago
First radiator that was delivered was damaged but replaced with minimum fuss. However this radiator is replacing an identical radiator that is 12 years old, the paint finish crazed and started chipping! I am hoping that the finish has improved as I love the look of the radiators.
Shocking

All 3 radiators came damaged. Went to local store to exchange and the ones in the store were also chipped. Got my money back.
Great product

Replacing all radiators in our Victorian home with these, they are really fantastic.
Replacement for smaller rad

Radiator bought to replace a smaller version of same which was inadequate for the room size. Heavy to fit of course because of the construction. Special offer at the time so reasonable price. Nicely finished in white enamel. Slight leak from input fittings at first, needs lots of heavy duty PTFE tape to ensure water tightness. The advantage of this sort of radiator is that although they take a longer time to heat up, when the system switches off they also produce useful heat for a much longer period afterwards.
Seems to have been imported, would have been good to have seen a British made product.
Damaged again

It appears that no one checks the box that these radiators come in before they are sent out, I have in the past got five of these radiators, that was after looking at all the radiators that were in the three large B & Q stores near me and finding that most of them were damaged. I then had to place a order so that the radiators I got were in a good condition. Lucky for me the damage on this radiator was on the side next to the wall, I just had to touch up the paint were it was marked. If thinking of getting this type of radiator make sure the box it comes in has no damage and if it does do not buy it because you will only be taking it back.
