Primer Red is a dark red Chalk Paint™ colour found in practically every culture, appearing in everything from Venetian palaces to Vietnamese temples, where red earths were plentiful and relatively easy to come by.

• Surface Preparation - No need for sanding or priming. Chalk Paint can be applied directly to almost any surface. In some rare instances, on untreated pine and some aged furniture, a yellow or pink stain may come through. Don’t worry, just apply clear shellac to the stain and repaint. Chalk Paint needs sealing with Annie Sloan wax or lacquer.
• Instructions for Storage - Always store in a cool and dry place. For best results use within the year of purchase. Once opened keep container tightly sealed.
