I'm a newbie to putting up coving, and only had a small room to do, so decided to use this ready-mixed product. I thought it would save mixing it up and ensure the mix had the right consistency. But when using this I found it far too runny. When buttering up one edge of a piece of coving, the adhesive was running off the first end and falling on the floor before I could finish spreading it at the other end. By the time I had some on both edges there was adhesive all over the place, and when putting the piece up I'd have adhesive dribbling down the walls. I did think maybe this wasn't right, but put it down to my own incompetence. Anyway, I persevered and eventually found I didn't have quite enough to finish the job. So I went back to the same store I'd bought the first pack and bought another pack of the same brand. I was suspicious about the consistency so I searched the shelf and found a pack with a different batch number (both batches were less than 3 months old, and the shelf life is supposed to be 12 months, so both were well within date). I put my last piece of coving up with this pack and WHAT a difference. Much, much stiffer consistency, no dripping at all. It made the process so much less desperate and obviously much less messy. Having said all this It did stick my coving up and left a good finish.

I used this to fix the coving in my dining room/kitchen. I tend to use nails to b assist in the fixing process. This adhesive is great, and can be used for filling the gaps and finishing off the lines. Easily smoothed over with a damp sponge. Can easily be sanded and painted over.

I bought for my coving. It is strong adhesive and filler for coving as well. They supply spatula for application but you need funnel shaped plastic bag like one used in cake decoration. I feel they should supply numbers of these as spatula to spread but you need a nozzle to apply a line
Good but be careful!

Far superior to the Diall product which latter is actually useless. Straight from the tub the Evo product was a nice consistency and buttered on well. Stuck well (on newly skimmmed plaster) and was easy to smooth over (with a finger) to fill gaps at the edges of the coving. However I had to buy a second pot to complete the job and this proved to be rather lumpy (old stock?). I couldn't use it as the lumps prevented the coving from bedding properly. I took it back and got a replacment which was OK but I had ruined a length of coving and had to re-prepare the wall and ceiling surface. surface.

Cant fault this product providing you have prepared the coving and wall properly i.e making sure you have taken away any excess plaster off the wall or scouring the wall with a knife to make a decent key for it to adhere to and removing all dust with a paintbrush. make sure to apply a considerable amount to the coving so that it helps to create a suction when pressed against the wall. the first piece i put up stuck instantly the second needed holding for a matter of minutes for the adhesive to firm up, either way for the price you pay you cant argue and would happily use again.
