VFM Rotary Dryer

Like a few other reviewers , my issue was the old pole was stuck in the ground and had to find right size to drop on it . At 40 mms , this was perfect to drop on a previous 38mms fitting . Early impressions very favourable and with 50m drying capacity , good value for money
Good value - but!

Just purchased this to replace the same item purchased a number of years ago. Fitted straight into existing socket. Good value. However, it has a manufacturing fault - the velcro strap has not been attached to the arm as it should be. A minor problem, but not worth taking it back to complain due to the distance from my nearest B & Q.
Not great tension, base of pole remains in situ

Bought at weekend, as only place i could get one easily during pandemic. No covers available. Tension not great - as soon as item placed on the tension is dropped. Bottom of pole has to remain in situ so even if you remove airer to store elsewhere you have this pole sticking out of the ground. It is easy to open.
A good product except ground socket

I bought this item last year with the intention of removing the pole each time after use. Generally very pleased with it.
However, diameter of plastic ground socket is too small to allow for easy removal of the lower pole section. Mine is now permanently stuck but I need to relocate the line. If lower section of pole is available separately I would relocate the ground socket using a slightly larger diameter socket.
Just the job

Bought to replace our old rotary driver that rusted and snapped at the base, this is a much bigger airer, both in terms of capacity and also ** WARNING ** the central shaft which didn't fit in the hole for the concrete post for the previous airer. Almost the same size, I had to take the angle grinder to the new airer to cut a slot like a wooden peg, about 8" (29cm) long in the bottom of the post ... with a good push, it fits now, but is effectively permanently in the ground.
Nice click-in feature to keep the airer up.
