Great

Light and easy to use and no problem with the cord. So far it's great.
Works well until you cut the cable

Lasted around 30 minutes, until the cable got covered by some fallen hedge and I cut right though the cable, I agree with other reviews the cable shouldn’t be black as it’s very hard to see.
Cut the cable after 2 hours

Hedge trimmer cuts brilliantly, but after 2 hours it stopped working. I later found out the cable had been caught in the trimmer (both are black) hence why it stopped working. B & Q wouldn't change it, so I had to repair it.
If you do decide to buy this trimmer I would suggest putting electrical tape on the lead so its visible if it does get caught in the trimmer.
Fantastic

Surprisingly worked very well

Had a huge hedge to cut back that hadn’t been touched in years, this did the job very well indeed, especially when you factor in the price.
I didn’t force it into the hedge, instead just gliding lightly and using a saw for thicker parts. I think too many people treat it like an industrial petrol-powered trimmer when this is at the other end of the scale.
It loses a point, however, for the bizarre decision not to have a brightly-coloured power cable. Far too easy to lose sight of a black cable during gardening and risk cutting through it.
