I purchased this to strip back a old wooden door I was putting on my shed it worked a treat but only having followed the instructions ie leave for 1hour then I stripped of what I could and repeated it was then getting late so I applied a 3rd coat and left over night this really did the trick if you've got time this works a treat and well worth the money
Good for paint, not varnish

Works fine on paint, strips it easily which is why I gave it a 2. Hardly touched the varnish on an old wood side unit though. Several applications following 9nstructions and even adgitating the surface first. Stick to sand paper

Wish I’d bought the Nitromors instead of this rubbish. Only needed to remove surface varnish off the top of a pine cupboard. Used most of it and it still didn’t do the job, only took the tiniest bit of varnish off. Went back to using my sander instead. Really disappointed with this product which is not up to B & Q’s usual good standards.

waste of time and money, poor result, paint was gooey, hard to clean up, I used another product on table surface and Diall product on table's legs, I don't even comment on the chair, judge yourself
