First thing, it doesn't come with the drill bit (well mine didn't).
It certainly made it easier than hammer and chisel.
I secured it to the wall with 3 screws, set the depth of my drill bit with a piece of tape and drilled away. Once I'd drilled through the diagonal holes the securing screws let go. It left the edges quite ragged, which will need filling.
However, the hole was easy to clean with a bit of chipping and the back box was fitted.
All in all, for the one socket I moved, it's worth the money, I think.
I'll no doubt use it again.

I had to sink in a few patress boxes into brickwork and I thought that this would make for an easier job. It'd probably be okay for breeze blocks or similar but I had so much trouble using it on brick that I gave up after the first try - the guide was half melted by then anyway. This isn't an inferior product - you just have to accept that this type of device is not going to effectively guide a drill into a substance as hard as a brick. It'd probably be fine on blocks though. One point that I thought was misleading, the photo shows a drill and I assumed that this was included - it isn't.
