What a nightmare!

This was bought as a birthday present for my lady but the construction of this item falls into the realm of very poor and worse.
First the good part. The delivery was prompt and the door design works well.
But that is the end of the good. Now for the negatives
I employed a local craftsmen builder to put down a base and erect the greenhouse. This man works with a spirit level constantly in hand and is well acquainted with the reading of 'manuals'. I was his assistant. The instructions which come with this greenhouse read as if they have been poorly translated from a Tibetan monks prayer roll. We spent as much time pouring over the pamphlet as we did actually doing the construction. And neither of us are idiots.
Forward to the build, and we then found a variance in parts accuracy and were forced to constantly refer to the photograph as used on the B&Q website. Major among these was the difference between the glass fitting as illustrated and that in the kit. The misleading photograph does not have plastic strips running everywhere. Heaven only knows what will happen if a pane gets broken. A really major issue was with the construction of the fanlights. So impossible did we find this when following the method advocated in the instructions that may builder built a jig in his workshop and we did it there. And the above is a mere flavour of what we found in the construction.
Now built, it leaks, which it would not if the glass fitting had been as the website photograph. The acrylic parts do not fit correctly (they are too short) and clearly there should have been a slope built into the guttering for it is nothing more than a gathering point for rain water, only dropping out when it becomes too deep.
I could go on and on and on but life is too short. Would I buy a greenhouse from B&Q again? Definitely not. Would Eden Halls products be recommended by myself or my builder? Definitely not.
Am I satisfied - I don' think I need to answer that.
