Bought this to put in bottom of a very expensive fire pit as advised on fire pit instructions.
This is not sharp sand it is full of bits of stone rubble etc. Do not use this for building.

This sand is heavily mixed with what can only be described as RUBBLE. Spent most of my time picking pebbles and stones out of concrete when I was trying to lay it. WASTE OF TIME and MONEY.
DO NOT BUY.

Laying a patio and just bought another yet 8 bags of sharp sand. The sand is different and in new bags with a seam up the back. Two split as I lifted them off the pallet, a big mess but not my problem. One split as I lifted it out of my car, not happy! I wasn't throwing them around. Please go back to the bags I've had for the last couple of months, until you do I'll be going elsewhere.
Can't comment on the sand as I haven't used any yet so I'll leave 3 stars for quality and value.

awful, no weight supplied on the bags so very difficult to gauge correct mixtures
Useless for what sharp sand is advised for

Its more like cement dust and granules than sand, useless for what sharp sand is advised for in filling in gaps in block paving. A wasteof money, even if a small amount of money
