BAL Waterproof 1C is a ready-to-use, rapid-setting one-coat waterproofing system for tiling interior wet areas. Ready to tile after only 2 hours, Waterproof 1C can be applied with a brush, trowel or roller and no mixing is required! What’s more it can be used without priming on certain backgrounds, and provides crack bridging without tape on static cracks or board joints up to 3mm. Includes Fibre Strand Technology for improved strength. Easy to apply straight out of the bucket, it provides coverage of up to 6m² making it perfect for any domestic shower, bathroom or wet room. Providing complete protection against water ingress to give yourself peace of mind. BAL Primer 1C is a rapid-drying red primer that helps reduce porosity and stabilise backgrounds prior to the application of BAL Waterproof 1C coating. Use on plaster or fibre cement boards before waterproofing. Rapid drying in only 15-30 minutes for fast track project completion. The red colour ensures coverage is easy to see. Undiluted, typical coverage is 6m2 per litre. Easy to apply with brush, roller or sponge. Included is a 20 metre roll of 50mm wide, high-strength, self-adhesive scrim tape for reinforcing joints.
