Supposed to be light brown - nearly black annoyed!

Bought this product supposed to be light brown. When I painted fence panel it looked very dark! I hoped once it dried it would lighten up ....... not the case. I am very very annoyed as I do not want a dark brown fence.
Light Brown Creocote

Bought this for staining sleepers and my fence. More than happy with the product. Dark brown was too dark but light brown did the job. Would recommend. Still have a long way to cover my fence so will be buying more

I purchased this product today and wow really fantastic product covers well ad brings out the grain in the wood and I've researched for days as didn't want it to dark and it's not ignore all the bad reviews as this product is great and I'll be using it over and over again and I have 60 odd meters of fence round my house
Delighted with the finish

I researched paint, stains, varnish and oils and just couldn't find a finish that would bring out the wood grain, add a little natural colour while providing UV, Water and Mould protection until someone suggested Creocote. Wow. Thrilled with the finish after applying to my sleeper raised beds. (Green treated softwood sleepers)
It goes on like water and so flood coats anything it can get to. I used a 2.5 inch brush. The stuff stinks like fresh diesel and I wore eye goggles, gloves and a mask. Game over if it gets on your clothes. It's been approx 36 hours and the garden still has a slight smell. The timber doesn't feel 100% dry so the recommended 48 hours sounds about right. 2 thirds of one tub has easily coated all sides of the timber so it goes much further than I initially thought.
Over the moon with the results and won't hesitate to use this for all outdoor timber projects going forward.
