This product is poor design

We have had 2 of these seats and they have both cracked on one side after a few months. The seat is badly designed due to the positioning of the seat supports.
like me, it feels cheap and uncomfortable

Very thin and cheap feeling for a £45 loo seat and uncomfortable.
Fixings surprising as there's no rubber compression ring for the mounting holes, just a bolt and a plastic nut. No rear supports either which is odd, you can feel it flex as you sit and I'm average height/build/weight.
All of the above seem unusual omissions you'd expect on a seat half the price.
Very disappointed. I'd like to take it back, but don't think I can.
Positive features outweighed by Cost-cutting
Disappointed from London - 1 year ago
I bought this product in November 2019. It fits well and looks fine, apart from the somewhat 'clunky' fittings. The soft close features operate well. I liked the fact that it is solid wood from a sustainable source. However, the seat and lid are mere SLIVERS of wood - they could not be thinner if the maker tried! I wonder how long the seat will last..And I'm sure it won't support an overweight person. So forget a nice cushioning experience as you sit! Also, the base has only a mere 2 plastic supports - instead of the usual 4 - onto the china rim of the toilet. I hate all the cost-cutting steps that manufacturers nowadays con us consumers with! We're supposed to be conserving our environment, not producing disposable goods. Gone are the days of great quality and longevity, hey! I bet I don't get a response from the manufacturer!!

Great quality toilet seat

This toilet seat looks great and the soft close function is good too. Very sturdy and was easy to fit. I was so pleased with the one I bought for the cloakroom a few months ago that I have bought another for the main bathroom.
Worst toilet seat ever.

This seat is a nightmare. Fittings move around constantly. 1 of the pads underneath have broken off. Waste of money.
