Design near miss...

Bought 2 of these as needed a top fix replacement for tired ones. The fixings to the pan are excellent and have a great spacer piece when installing to ensure they are correctly spaced. The seat itself is push on push off and so is inevitably less “secure” than permanently affixed types. As long as the “rests” actually do rest on the pan all seems well. My issue is really that the seat has to be set a little too far forward to allow the the seat to remain vertical when lifted. This is a silly design flaw. I have kept them both (and both in use) for now. If anything breaks or fails I shall be claiming under the guarantee.
ONE BIG MISTAKE IN PURCHASING THIS!!!

I went to purchase a different toilet seat. However, it wasn't available at my local store so opted for this as it looked good. After being fitted it seemed OK, however, after just a day it kept working loose. If you raised the lid the whole seat came with it. We took it off and put the old one back. I took it back, but they said as the plastic had been removed they couldn't accept it. I did ask how you could put a seat on without removing the plastic. In the end they did give me half my money back. My problem though is that with all the negative reviews there must be a design fault and therefore you should get a full refund and not a partial one.

I should have read previous reviews, but didn't. As below, I have trouble getting one of the fixing to stay tight onto the bowl, keeps coming loose and the seat moves around all over the place. And now the mechanism that holds the seat to the fixings has failed, so every time you lift the seat the whole thing falls off. Utter rubbish!

Worst toilet seat I've ever fitted. Dreadfully unclear instructions. Then, once it's fitted couldn't get it to stay on the mounting pins. Each time you used the toilet the seat would come away in your hands. Useless. Took it back to B&Q and after 5 staff had examined it the consensus was that it had an 'intermittent fault'. They wouldn't take it back but gave me a partial refund and I got another make of soft closing toilet seat (yet to be fitted).
Push… and clean

Whoever though of calling a toilet seat ‘push n clean’ certainly had a sense of humour.
It does the Job.
