Great product, challenges you

Well I did it, I am a novice, I saw all the bad reviews challenges. I visited B & Q store to see it with my own eyes, its beautiful and cheap you will be tempted to go for it (Why not!). Like every other reviews, you will need tools to clip them together. You will need to clip row by row. It is worth the hassle. I took my time to install it, also with an under floor heating.
Looks great down.. good value

Definitely not for the faint hearted.. you need a quality board pulling tool.. you have to where you can put end to end together first.. and lay a full strip.. laying a strip and then belting the ends into place means you need to wedge the floor into place and make sure it doesnt move as you go.. trimming the back of the tongue off with a blade helps to get ends together in difficult places.
A cheap way to get a engineered wood floor.

The reviews were awful but the price was right so I had a go. If you follow all the advice and use the right tools this flooring is easy enough to lay. It is a little knotty so bear that in mind when ordering and laying. Couple of tips to make this easy. 1. Run light sandpaper round all joints (if the joints are not clear it will not go together). 2. Use dry lubricant on all joints. 3. Use a full size profession Pull Bar anything else and you are playing at it. Yes the joints are tight but that means it looks great when down. I've had one room down for a month now and am very pleased plan to use again.
Extremely difficult to fit.

As with most of the other reviews, this was the most difficult floor to lay and I have fitted several before easily. The short end of the pieces will not click together without severely hammering them. Choose another product.
Worst floor ever to lay.

Is your husband is fitting this floor. Make sure you go away for the weekend - especially if you are the one who bought it. It’s a pig to fit. By far and away the worst we have ever laid.
