Exactly what I wanted

This is a great pit for the price. It is "untreated" so will rust but I plan to use some sort of paint once I find the right sort. There is no drain hole but I have bought a cover to offer some protection from the elements. The steel is quite thick unlike many others I looked at so I expect that if I look after it, it will last for a good few years. Assembly took 10 minutes and I have no complaints. Very happy with this purchase..

bought this and gave it 2 coats off bbq paint before burning in and have had lots of large fires in it and still looks class , however if theres a strong breeze u will end up stinking of smoke lol

Good size and sturdy though rusted within a week. Would have assumed an outdoor item would have had at least some sort of weatherproof paint used. Needs a drain hole too. Such a shame it looks years old and awful so soon.
Not as large as advertised

Nice strong firepit, easy to assemble, but diameter is only 800cm not the 920cm as stated
Stunning firepit and such a cracking price!

When you compare this to other fire pits of a similar diameter at double or triple the price it's hard to justify spending more!
Really well made, sturdy, and stunning. Lots of complements from guests.
Only giving it four stars as I would 100% recommend getting a cover for the rain. It fills up very quickly with nowhere to drain to. I will probably drill a small drain hole in the middle as it takes forever to evaporate, and I don't want to pour the dirty water away onto my patio before using again.
Also this rusted VERY quickly. I have had for three weeks and it's pretty orange from maybe 5 days of rain. I really wouldn't expect that but it clearly isn't treated at all. Even the legs are rusty so it can't have been the heat affecting the paint. Shame really as I will now have to spend time and money on brushing this back and coating with a decent heat proof paint. In fact I would probably recommend coating with rustoleum or similar right from the box even if you get a cover.
For comparison my bbq has been left in the rain for two years and is not even starting to rust on either the stainless or the black steel.
