Fine for border edging

Bought several to tidy up some borders. Painted them and put them easily. Look fine and do the job

I bought 6 of these yesterday to edge a border in the garden. I had had them before from another supplier, at half the price, which were great, so presumed these would be too, but every one fell to pieces when trying to knock them into the ground. We had to repair them with longer nails as the ones they used were not long enough. Definitely won't buy again and would not recommend.
Waste of money

I brought several of these and after one or two bangs on pegs they came away. Only held together by two rusty nails. DO NOT BUY.
Not bad, but...

This is a nice looking product. It can also be painted to suit you colour palette. However, I have a few issues with it. First, there are spaces between the posts and grass grows through. You need to back it with weed control fabric. This means you are limited to which way you can face it or you need to lift it when you cut the grass which really defeats the purpose of edging. Second, if the rounded side faces the grass, you cant strim in between the posts and so you either have to lift the edging or use scissors. Again defeating the purpose of edging. To use this product effectively, the flat side needs to face the grass, is backed with weed control and is set level with the grass so that you can mow over it. I see a few people had issues setting the stakes and I also had some issues. You do need to be careful and I'd recommend pre-digging the ground before you set them. All in all I'd buy this again, but now I'm more aware of the limitations.
