They are fantastic we use these on posts for outbuildings.Work a treat for 4x4 post but you will need to notch them to slot on.
Bolts not included?

I drove for an hour to collect 7 of these post supports (it was the nearest B&Q store that sold everything I needed for a project). I would still have bought them whether they included the bolts or not but the photo on the web site clearly shows 2 bolts so of course I assumed they were included – no ! There was a packet of 4 screws included with 6 of the supports (not the 7th); I should have checked before I drove away – my fault. The supports themselves are reasonably made but check for squareness. One of the square ‘tubes’ wasn’t at right-angles with the base.
