No instructions and no screws

Titles says it all. It's stilll sitting on the patio waiting for me to go buy the screws. I would take it back but I have a 45 mile round trip!

Sorry but this is the worst product I've bought, none of the pieces fit, we had to saw the ends of as the centre bits were too long, really cheap wood, I've burnt better stuff on the fire, no instructions, although it isn't rocket science, and only 3 nails, a mouse had eaten the bag, didn't realise till unpacking as they are stapled to the middle. Having said that, a coat of paint makes it look much better, just be prepared, it's not a 5 minute job
Lovely design, but unreliable measurements

I bought this yesterday and made it up in just over 30 mins. We've stained the wood and it looks terrific; and it's very sturdy. But I would agree with the review by 'burtrude' that the description "easy to assemble" is very misleading. Like 'burtrude' I am competent at DIY but as well as a hammer I needed a tape measure, pencil, set square and saw to finish the product. The section dividers were all too long - the single long diameter by 2 cm, the 4 short radials by 1/2 cm, so I had to measure out, mark and cut these with a saw. (On the cover of the instructions, make sure to note the small print "All figures are approximate"!)
The assembly instructions were misleading: the hexagonal base came in 2 ready-made halves, not individual slats, and only 24 round-head nails were provided, not 50! Also the base has to be nailed to the hexagonal sides with everything upside down, base on top - something the instructions don't explain. This means laying out the sidesfirst and adjusting the diameters using a tape measure. I also chose to nail the base to the dividers once I'd cut them, to prevent any loose movement.
Reading the other reviews, it seems that Blooma's cutting out of the section dividers is somewhat variable: you may get a set that fits, or the pieces may be too short or too long. Again I would agree with 'burtrude': "A good purchase if you are willing to spend an hour or so assembling."
Lovely herb planter

I purchased this herb wheel with a bit of caution after reading these reviews and can I say I am so pleased with my purchase, I put it together in 20 minutes with no problems what so ever (I'm a female and over 50) the instructions where easy to read and I didn't have to cut any of the slats and only needed a hammer, as they say it was 'child's play' to put together, the only thing that I would recommend is to place a liner inside before the centre wood dividers goes in ( I used a couple of thick plastic rubble sacks and put some drainage holes in it) as it is soft wood and possible to rot, apart from that it looks great on my patio.
Nice design, poor quality.

This is an attractive herb planter and my herbs are thriving in it. However the description "easy to assemble" is very misleading. I am competent at doing diy but the instructions failed to point out that as well as a hammer you will also need a tape measure, pencil, ruler and saw to finish the product. The cross pieces that divide the sections did not fit, in fact instead of 1 long and 4 short pieces, our package contain 2 long and 2 short pieces, all of which needed cutting to fit. This could be due to the poor storage conditions in store - the package we bought was the only one of four to look complete and not have any serious damage to it. A good purchase if you are willing to spend an hour or so assembling.
