The cheapest wood ever!
karlyn austin - 1 month ago
Arrived this morning and where it has been left in rain (not uncommon for a garden planter) Arrived this morning (delivery driver was the best, bless him. 5 stars for him) and it has mould and mildew on the wood. I have two pallets in my garden (obtained from a grocery shop) and the wood is better quality!! Nowhere in the description does it mention a drill is required, nor a staple gun. No drill or staple gun in my possession, so on the hunt for a friendly neighbour. Not worth the money.
Handy, straight forward to use, sturdy

Not sure about others, found it easy to put together, took me 20 minutes with the cheapest drill you can get. Is sturdy, well priced, works well
Needs drilling

Pack gives the impression that item just slots together. AFTER opening it, we learn we had to drill - 24 holes !.By the time I found a neighbour with electric drill + extension lead + suitable screwdriver PLUS drive to friend's for a staple gun (yeah - you need that too), assembly took 1/2 a day AND I need to go back to B & Q to replace neighbour's drill bit, which broke while doing it.. Had I been elderly or infirm, I would have needed to return it or pay someone to put it on together. I suggest B&Q put the instructions on the outside so that customers know what they're getting into !.
Clear instructions, easy to assemble.

Nice looking planter - comes flat packed and comes with screws and instructions. Staple gun recommended for fitting the liner. To screw, use a 3mm drill bit for holes. Takes around 30 minutes o assemble, including lining.
Self assembly, didn’t know this

Flat pack on arrival and may not have had the drill to do it... sacked off the liner as messed that up good and proper trying to fit it. Diagram clearly tells you that you need a staple gun!! Who keeps one of these ? Now back to square one and put a pot inside instead.
