I purchased these boards to insulate and board my loft all n one go. Although the product covers both bases it was very difficult to fit because it had been stored incorrectly and was bowed in the middle of each sheet which made fitting the tongue into the groove almost impossible. A job which should have taken a day took 2.

Warmer bedroom!

I bought several of these boards to insulate one of the lofts of our house over the mineral wool between the joists. They are very easy to use and seemed to have made the room warmer. They are easy to cut and fit together well. They are expensive but so are the alternatives. The disadvantages are that; they lower the headroom (obviously), the corners & edges of the chipboard and the polystyrene can crumble and they are so thick that you have to be very careful when you drill and fit the screws so that they hit the joists. I will buy some more for the other lofts but use them sparingly and use rock wool to build up the thickness of the lagging wherever I can to save money.
