B&q have no idea how to measure tube

Normally it's a worldwide acceptance that tobe is measured by inside diameter then a wall thickness is given. Saying something is 6, 4 or 2 mm means absolutely nothing.
Just spoken to the help team and they said the size is the OD and I need to check with store on the other sizes so they have no clue either.
I'm not driving to my nearest store to find out its inside diameter or wall thickness.
