Steel Lintels

Steel lintels are typically used in horizontal structural applications to distribute the weight of materials above, such as in door frames, windows and garage doors. The advantage of steel lintels over other materials is that they are much lighter weight making them far easier to work with during your construction project. Many steel lintels include an insulated gap in order to prevent what is known as a thermal bridge which reduces thermal efficency in the building.
