Features and benefits
Non-structural flooring boards for creating a new floor over existing flooring
- The long sides should be laid at 90 degrees to the joists & the ends should always meet on a joist. Floor board joints should be staggered for greater strength
- Fix panels in place with screws. Each screw should be countersunk & a pilot hole drilled as this makes fixing the boards easier & takes the heads of the screws below the level of the floor
- Do not be tempted to join boards between joists as they will soon sag & cause a weak spot in the floor. We recommend using screws rather than nails as excessive hammering could disrupt plasterboard below

Bought 3 packs all 3 contained boards with
damaged edges. They need cutting to land on joist, so you may as well use full size boards that a better quality. Very brittle/easily damage

Overall good,no problems at all.If I was going to be a bit picky..A little bit crumbly on the tongue corners..Fit together well and a good price. Would recommend.
Poor Quality. Break so easily.

Bought these from B&Q in the past and they have been fine. This time round they are the worst ever. They break up so easily and have a ridiculous amount of flex in them... even over 400mm spaced beams. Lifted them and bought new ones from elsewhere. Would have taken them back but the were a mess after lifting them so just binned them. Quality has clearly been reduced from the last time I bought them.
Serve their purpose

I’ve bought loads of these for my old house loft and my current house. They are fantastic, yes they only go together one way but once you work it out it’s fine. Not sure why other reviewers are cutting them up but I’ve never needed to. They are solid when put together PROPERLY.. they are made of chipboard so if you try smacking them together the wrong way they break! Try getting a buddy to help then silly mistakes are avoidable.
To get started put a loose board on the rafter bits to kneel on.. surely that’s a no brainer.
If you’re looking for a floor and not storage then get one professionally installed.
Excellent value for money

Great product, half the price of competitors. Be prepared to cut to length if boards are to fit joist center to center and may need 'squaring up'
