Barrel hinges
Good product, easy to use but need to drill pilot hole to make fixing easier

Disappointed
Really disappointed these broke very easy when screwing them in. A couple of the hinges were misaligned. Wouldn’t buy again.

Get spares !
Thankfully I read review before buying and got spares ! I had to use these to save a lot of extra carpentry - basically swapping out and replacing cupboard doors on a refurb. These are difficult to get hold at my usual supplier - so ordered here. The other reviews are correct - the spot welds holding the thread to the barrel are pretty poor and unless the hinges are absolutely straight , level and perpendicular the weakest weld will pop under any extra pressure. They do the job and look ok ...

Awful quality
Picture shows old product with screw in arms embedded securely into the barrel, what actually arrives in the post now is screw in arms shoddily spot welded to the barrel. Mine snapped the first time I opened the door. Utter rubbish

Flimsy
These things break really easily, so get a spare or two! They work in situations where nothing else would fit, though, so no choice but to use them...

The Jury is still out.
I bought 10 packs of these hinges and I haven't fitted them all yet. However, the first one I fitted broke across the weld. There is no tolerance in these hinges and they have to be installed with very considerable accuracy if they are to fit without the use of force. The slightest misalignment between two hinges results either in non-fit or in all the weight being taken on one hinge. It took very little force to break the weld. Hopefully the remainder will be more reliable.
