Cif lemon cream

I like this product, i like the smell. I like that it has that gritty texture “micro crystals. definitely helps remove the toughest stains. My hob is always in need of a clean. And this definitely does the job,it removed hard stubborn burnt on food and grease. I would most definitely have this as a staple in my kitchen cupboard. Sparkling results minimum effort

WOW what can I say? I love this, it gets 5 stars from me!
I purposely let my cooker hob to get dirty as I knew I was receiving this Cif cleaner. I was expecting to get gassed with strong cleaning fumes (as I always do for other products I’ve used) but was pleasantly surprised by the very suttle lemon fragrance. It went on easy and only left it for a 5 minuets before I started to wipe (I normally have to scrub)! I used a damp sponge expecting to have to use some elbow grease but I was saved, all the grime, grease and stubbornness just simply wiped away. Easy cleaning and no streaks or powder residue. I’m amazed, I now like cleaning my cooker! Well done Cif. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Lemon-aid or lemon-hinder?

First off, I hate cleaning & actively avoid doing it. I don't buy clothes that can't be machine washed & I prefer things to be tumble-dryable. Husband is not so picky, so he gets to do his own delicates!!
So now I've set the scene on my slovenly ways... let's begin...
I like easy, I like cheap, I like zero effort. Nice smell is a bonus, but maximum reward for minimum effort really gets me excited.
I decided to really put Cif Lemon Cream to the test by cleaning my oven & it hits most of my wants: Easy to use, reasonably cheap & nice smell. BUT! Elbow grease is required to really make a dent in the ground in muck on my oven door. (I might also make mention of the fact that I bought a self cleaning oven, but so lazy am I, that I 'forget' even to do that).
In conclusion, does it work? Yes-ish... I think it works well as a surface cleaner & if you maintain the hard to clean stuff on a more regular basis then it's fine for that too. However, for my oven it required much more effort than I could motivate myself to give, so I have deducted one star because of that.
Oh & FYI, the photo has a reflection of my hob switches at the top, not as it appears a caravan of insects on a mission!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Cleaning made easier
bec4everuk1 - 1 year ago
Been using for the past few weeks and been super impressed at just how shiny it can bring up my bath tub, kitchen sink and my draining board as well as my oven hobs. It makes them really shiny without having to scrub because Cif manages to work through the dirt and you wipe it off leaving the lovely shine. You only need to use a little bit each time and the smell is really nice and the smell stays for a while after a cleaning session. I would recommend this product it makes cleaning alot easier and not so much of a hard task. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This product makes me feel that I can reach a level of polish and cleanliness on my work surface whilst leaving a pleasant scent , and being tough on any grime dust or dirt. I enjoy it’s versatility and I find its really effective unlike many spray bottle cleaners [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
